What about the spread of diseases between yards?
Now that’s a great question! See, dog waste can carry many different diseases and is the main reason we use a special disinfectant after EACH YARD we visit! Our technicians spray all of our equipment and our footwear after each yard is visited… Even if our next stop is your neighbor! For more information on some of the diseases found in dog waste
Can you clean my yard if my dog is outside?
That depends on the dog, but we prefer the dog(s) to be inside. If the dog shows ANY signs of aggression then we will need the dog to stay inside while we provide the waste removal. Likewise, if your dog is overly friendly, and loves to jump on our technicians, we will need to ask that the dog be kept inside. We love dogs but we are strict about making sure we don’t spread any diseases between yards. A dog that jumps on us could get waste on our uniforms that would be carried to the next yard and dog. Keep in mind that even friendly dogs can see someone in THEIR yard as an intruder, especially when you’re not home.

Does We Do Poop clean the entire yard?
Most dogs are confined to the back yard so please let us know if you allow your dog to do their business in other areas. Our fees are based on the number of dogs, the size of the property and if we are disposing of waste at our location or using your trash bin. So we will clean the front yard, or other areas, so long as you let us know your dog uses certain areas. There may also be an additional fee to clean other areas.

I don’t want to pay the extra fee to have my dogs waste hauled off and my trash bin is located inside a secure area. How is this handled?
If we don’t have access to your trash bin, we will work out a location for us to leave the double bagged waste so that you can place it in the trash bin when you get home.

Should I keep my gate unlocked?
Yes, our technicians will not go over a fence or gate to access your yard. If you desire for us to lock the gate when we leave, just let us know and we will send you a picture of the locked gate before we leave your property. Keep in mind that you can provide us with a hidden key location, or tell us the combination, if that would be more convenient for you. Please know that if the gate is locked when we arrive, and we cannot perform the pet waste service, a charge is still incurred but we will do double doody on the following scheduled cycle.

What happens if it’s raining on the day of service or if the service is scheduled on a holiday?
Most of our technicians are not afraid to get a little wet… Seriously, it really depends on how bad the weather is. We Do Poop will generally service your yard between rains but if we’re not able to, we will try to reschedule for later in the week or we will pull double doody the following week. For holidays, we generally will try to get you taken care of before or after the holiday or pull double doody the following week.

I stepped in a pile an hour after you left… WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU?
At We Do Poop, we doo (get it… doo) our best and walk in a specific pattern to not miss any waste.
Here are the top reasons waste is missed.
#1. It wasn’t. Your beloved pet decided to remind you they loved you and after seeing we picked up all the reminders.
#2. The grass was too tall. It’s best for We Do Poop to come after the yard has been mowed but many homeowners want to wait to mow so that they don’t run over the messes. Realistically, if you mow once a week and we scoop once a week, it should work out just fine.
#3. There were leaves that covered the ground.
Similar to the grass being too tall, leaf cover can prevent our technicians from seeing the piles. If leaves are the problem, just give us a call as we will be offering fall leaf removal.
#4. Our technicians are human and mistakes are made, so just give us a call!

Can you schedule service around our lawn maintenance?
Well, maybe. Please let us know the days your yard maintenance is scheduled and we can see if that fits within our routes for your technician. To keep our rates reasonable, we need to adhere to a strict route plan so that or technicians can service everyone in a proper timeline. With this in mind, we can’t guarantee we will meet your lawn service scheduling, but we will certainly do our best to work with you.
At We Do Poop Pet Waste Removal Service, we appreciate a freshly mowed and landscaped yard as much as anyone. It makes it so much easier for us to do a complete and thorough job when the grass has been cut short, and any leaves and fallen branches have been removed. Occasionally, we’ll get complaints about our clean-ups, when it’s actually the result of an uncut or unkept yard. Many lawn care services are likely to come every other week, or even less frequently, depending on the weather. This means that the grass is sometimes too high for us to find every piece of your dogs waste. We doo want to doo our best to fully clean up your yard, but sometimes the existing conditions just make that next to impossible. When your lawn service does cut the grass, it may reveal hidden dog poop that we couldn’t find during our servicing of your yard, and this gives the impression that We Do Poop is not doing the best job we can doo. This is not the case: we are always there for you and want nothing better than to provide complete satisfaction. So we ask your understanding and would like to suggest that if you can keep your landscapers on a steady schedule it will make everyone’s job easier and leave your yard in the best possible shape.

Can you go through my house to get to my yard?
Unfortunately, we can only enter a yard through an external gate. If you live in an apartment or condo we can only enter your yard from the outside even if you are home. If you have a balcony, or other area that is only accessible from inside the home, we won’t be able to service that area.

Do you pick up runny messes?
Dogs can get sick and leave a runny mess. These runny messes are very hard to remove, but we will try. Sometimes, we may use your hose pipe and rinse the runny waste into the yard. If this becomes a habit, we may need to restructure your pricing or stop servicing your home. Please let us know if this is a constant issue with your beloved pet.
